The Clayton-Bradley High School Girls Tennis team continued their wining season on Tuesday night, as they beat Gibbs by a score of 5-4. The difference was the top Lady Blazer seeds and the final doubles match of the day. It all came down to Natalie Kim and Mia Adkins having to win their doubles to seal the deal. Coach LuAnne Zelasko did not want the duo to know, so as not to add pressure, but knew they would come through. They did just that and helped move the Blazers to 3-2 on the season.
Coach Z shared her thoughts, "This was a close match. We were surprised at some of the players with their athleticism and ability to return the ball. Hannah Rasmussen had a great come back to win her singles match 8-6. She played smart and once she found the weakness she started winning more points. The closing win in Doubles of Natalie and Mia happened through great teamwork."
