At first it was really hot. Then there was a lightening delay. But, at the end of what turned out to be a beautiful evening, The Clayton-Bradley Academy High School Cross Country team got to run their first race of the season Thursday night at Cherokee Farms and they finished well. The High School races typically go for a distance of a 5K, but this night's opening season race was only 2 miles. On this night the Blazers were all first time High School race participants and turned in awesome times for it being their first competitive experience at that level.
