The Clayton-Bradley Middle School Soccer team won it's third match in a row on Tuesday night, as they defeated Berean 4-0. Coach Josh Perkey shared his thoughts, "The team played well Tuesday evening and raised its record to 3-3 with one game remaining in the regular season. Congrats to Katia Biegalski and Carson Meyers who shared time at goalkeeper and recorded the team's first shutout. Our offense is finding its voice and doing a lot more talking on the field when we attack. Four different players scored our four goals, and that's partly due to better communication.
Anya Biegalski and Bria Moynihan came off the bench to fill outside fullback positions. Both did a great job stopping the opponent near the touchline and around the penalty area. Anya's poise was impressive as her tackling and dribbling-out-of-trouble were on display.
The Blazers finish the regular season Thursday night at Saint Joseph's. They will find out their seeding and bracket on Saturday for the KISL end of season tournament.
Go Blazers!
